I wanted to let you know that I received and accepted the Project Manager position last week! I am SO excited about the transition and the position. I truly cannot thank you enough for all of your support and guidance. Over the past few years I knew that my current field wasn’t for me, but I really struggled to understand where to even begin to find a position that was a better fit for my skills and personality. Your knowledge and guidance helped kick off this career transition and I wouldn’t have had the confidence, self-awareness, or information to find such a great fit without you. I am endlessly grateful.

Liz was such a helpful resource during my recent job search. Her close review of my resume and cover letter was both affirming in terms of what I was doing well, and constructive in terms of ways to improve. She answered all of my specific questions and was gracious, responsive, timely, and professional at every step of the way. Thanks to Liz, I now feel confident that I am putting my best foot forward as a job candidate.

I’m at a point where I know I want to change careers, but had no idea where to start and was feeling overwhelmed. Liz has helped me break the process down into manageable steps. We started with the basics - figuring out my strengths and what parts of my job I do and don’t like, and why that might be. Her ability to listen and pick out what I thought were irrelevant tidbits about my skills and interests and offer insights is incredible. Working with Liz, I feel like I’m getting equipped with the insights that are going to help me find a job that’s right for me, instead of just the next job.

While working a demanding job I found it nearly impossible to carve out time to job search, let alone to develop a strategy and plan for finding a new career. The time I spent working with Liz was invaluable to me. After taking the CliftonStrengths Assessment I received an overview of my strengths and Liz helped me interpret my results and understand how my current day-to-day is impacted by my strengths in both positive and negative ways. She had many examples that made the analysis real to me and this understanding has helped me be more thoughtful about the type of work I now believe I want to do and the environment I want to do it in.

Liz also has given me the tools I need to be successful in my job search: laying out a suggested plan for informational interviews and providing a framework to reach out to people and conduct these interviews, all while providing encouragement and helpful ideas when I’ve hit a dead-end. While I am still on my job search now, I feel confident about what I am looking for and I know that I now have the tools I need to get there. So far, I’ve had several referrals and interviews, and can say that I’ve genuinely enjoyed the process of understanding what other people do and thinking through how that may or may not apply to what I want. I would recommend working with Liz to anyone who knows they want a career change and is not quite sure about how to make it happen.

I pursued career coaching with Liz because I felt like I had hit a wall in my job, was feeling defeated and unsure about which direction I wanted to go in next. Liz helped me define my direction and path forward by asking insightful questions, and I always left our conversations feeling a little more confident in myself and grateful for the space she created for me. The conversations that we had about finding people to network with, how to approach an informational interview, and ask for a reference were incredibly helpful in my job search - I had 4 job referrals and subsequent interviews lined up less than one month later!

I highly recommend Liz to anyone who is struggling with defining their career path. Liz has great career development skills, and is highly emotionally intelligent. She will give you excellent tips and resources, and will support you in becoming more confident in yourself and defining your own path. She is an excellent thought-partner and someone you definitely want in your corner through a challenging process!

Liz is amazing! When I relocated to another state, I worked with Liz through every step of my career transition. She helped me identify my goals, create my networking strategy, and negotiate my salary for my new position. Liz was always a call or text away through every step, and she made the process feel like we were on a team working together to achieve our shared goal. I highly recommend her to anyone in my network who thinks they need a little extra support or an outside perspective on their career plans!
